Why Do We Need to Verify Your Age?
When placing an order, you must be over the age of 18, and we need to be sure you’re of this age or over. This is because it’s illegal to sell electronic cigarettes or any vapour products that contain nicotine (or can be used to deliver nicotine) to any individuals under the age of 18.
If you are 18 or over and wanting to place an order with us, you must therefore also agree to let us confirm your age. This will be done through 1Account age verification.
How Do We Verify Your Age?
When creating an account with us, in order to place an order, you will need to provide your full name, billing address, and your date of birth. This information should be entered as it would appear on your driver’s license, electoral roll, or a UK credit card. This information needs to be correct and accurate in order for us to verify your age and then deliver your goods upon confirmation.
We use 1Account services to verify your age securely. When purchasing an age-restricted product or service, you will need to consent for us to share your information with — and collect from — One Account Mobile Limited (1Account) and any third-party providers of identity data to 1Account.
We will need you to consent to this in order for 1Account to verify that you are 18 years of age or older. This consent will allow the service to show that you meet the minimum age requirement as well as other identity verification requirements, in line with UK age restriction legislation.
Your consent also allows 1Account to keep relevant data for the purpose of any future verifications. All of the data used and processed by 1Account will always be subject to the correct security measures to keep your data safe. The data kept by 1Account is subject to regular review to make sure that it’s never held longer than necessary.

How Does it Work?
The age verification process is there for first-time orders, or if you are placing an order with an alternative email address than first registered with us. The 1Account Age Verification service will then pop up during the order confirmation process. This will run a check of your age against the information provided to us during the checkout process.
If, during this process, 1Account is successfully able to confirm your age, no further action will be required, and your order will be processed and dispatched as normal.
If, however, 1Account is unable to verify your age at this stage, you will be given the option to try age verification again using any of the following methods:
- Your mobile phone number
- Credit card
- Electoral roll
- Driver’s license
- Citizen’s card
- A photo of your passport or driver’s licence (which can be emailed to us)
