With so many different CBD products and potencies out there, it can be difficult to get your head around the right solution for you. The correct dosage and strength for CBD products are important for safe consumption, and we’re here to help you better understand CBD oil strength and how to buy the right one for you in the UK.
Which Strengths of CBD Oil are Available?
There are thousands of CBD companies out there, each with its own selection of products with many variations. It would therefore be impossible to provide every single strength of CBD oil out there.
Nevertheless, there are usually three main strengths that most retailers will provide. These are:
- 300MG (3% CBD potency)
- 500MG (5% CBD potency)
- 1000MG (10% CBD potency)
Typically, this would be your low, medium, and high dose range, but there are many other products out there, from 100MG to 5000MG.
Which is the Right Strength?
There is no correct answer to this because everyone is different. No two people will ever react the same to one strength and one dose of a CBD product. The right strength for you will be based purely on your own needs, reactions, and biochemistry.
While there is no correct answer in terms of dose and strength for you, it’s always important to familiarise yourself with the strengths out there and gather as much information as possible to make an informed decision before trying various CBD products.
What are the Effects and Uses of the Different Strengths?
The smaller strengths are a great way to get started with CBD products if you’re unsure. As mentioned above, 300MG is usually a good smaller strength to try. This strength can be a good option to implement as a small, daily dose to understand the benefits of CBD oil for you. You then have the choice of working your way up to higher strengths.
Instead of opting for the highest strength, a medium dose can be a good strength to test. This can be a good option if you feel as though the potency of a lower strength isn’t making any difference for you. Again, this is a good option for a daily dose, but it’s also a good strength percentage for those with specific health conditions they would like to target.
Medium strength products could help to target day-to-day aches and pains like migraines, or target anxiety and insomnia.
Higher strengths naturally come with the potential for bigger benefits, but beginners should avoid jumping straight into the most potent products out there. It’s a good idea to work your way up over time to something around 1000MG in strength.
With the potential for high benefits also comes a bigger risk of unpleasant side effects that you may not get with lower doses, which is why caution is advised. When used correctly, however, high-strength CBD oil can be used to help alleviate a range of conditions, such as chronic pain, sleep problems, and inflammation.
Daily use is also still possible, as long as you have developed experience with CBD products and know how to use a high strength effectively.
No matter the strength of CBD oil you’re considering, always consult with your GP before beginning with a CBD product.
